To whom it my concern,

I, (Customer) authorizes and/or its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors and representatives (collectively, hereinafter “Company”), to act as my agent with respect to matters related to electricity supply and/or electricity bill credits, for the account(s) listed in Exhibit A, attached hereto.

I expressly authorize Company to act on my behalf to:

(a) Solicit electricity supply prices and/or electricity bill credits from suppliers.
(b) Express interest in a supplier’s rate plan and negotiate with such suppliers.
(c) Enroll me in a rate plan with a supplier as set forth in the Company’s Terms or Service.
(d) Execute an electricity supply contract.
(e) Share my electricity account information, this Letter of Authorization, and other information provided by me with suppliers or other relevant parties in accordance with the Company’s Term of Service and Privacy Policy as necessary. I also understand that my electricity provider or supplier may share information about me with Company to the extent permitted by law and applicable privacy policies.
(f) Renew my electricity contract automatically, without additional consent, if (i) such feature is activated during my sign up process, (ii) specific conditions are satisfied, and (iii) I have not explicitly opted out of the feature.
(g) By the execution, (“Customer”) authorizes Cost Effective Energy (“Agent”), acting through its managers, officers, or employees, to (i) access Customer's account(s) with each electricity provider, utility company, or service provider with whom Customer has an account; (ii) obtain copies of Customer’s payment history and billing history, and access payment methods or assist in facilitating payment setup as permitted by the provider which is inclusive of but not limited to Customer’s credit card information and Automated Clearing House (ACH) information with each provider with whom Customer has an account; (iii) obtain copies of Customer’s historical usage information from Customer’s current or past electricity providers; (iv) communicate with any provider or utility on behalf of Customer; (v) negotiate one or more service agreements on behalf of Customer for the provision of electricity; and (vi) initiate switching process on behalf of Customer, in accordance with applicable regulations.

I also authorize Company to receive copies of all notices or communications, where permitted and technically feasible from my supplier, including without limitation, notices regarding my rate plan, billing issues, outages and other information. All authorizations herein shall be exercised in accordance with applicable laws, utility rules, and supplier policies. Nothing in this letter shall obligate an electricity provider or supplier to act beyond their legal or regulatory obligations.

Company may provide this letter to energy providers, suppliers or other parties as required.
This letter shall remain effective until revoked by me in writing.
